It all started this morning with a fun tweet by @alanweinkrantz who decided to raise funds to buy me a BMW M5 for my birthday. Since Alan is my friend and I want to honor his request and those that have been tweeting about it since, I’ve set up a Paypal button here to make contributions. So go crazy, donate a nickel and get one other person to do it and have them do the same. Let’s see how far we can take this. Maybe my 30th birthday will be the one where Twitter bought me a new car…or not. But nonetheless, it’ll be fun to see how far it goes. Let’s swing for the fences and see what’s possible.
UPDATE: The official BMW blogger, Thomas Gigold aka @gigold for the 2009 IAA Frankfurt Auto Show (@iaablog) has written about this fund raiser in German and English.

Great idea and happy birthday. If this works for you, I’ll try it as a retirement plan.
Cheers. I want a ride in the BMW.
You know, Nan, you didn’t specify which year model it had to be, or if it actually has to be drivable. 🙂
@linda thank you, I’ll let you know!
@major I’ll determine that, all I’m working on now is the $85,000 goal.
*His second (english version) link back to your blog didn’t work? Let me know if it doesn’t work for others…want to make sure we’re driving as much traffic as possible! 🙂
Alan – you made me realize my circle of friends is not as generous! Let’s be friends! 😉
@Nan – I wonder what kind of dog seats compliment the BMW? I’m sure just any one won’t do now! 😀
Gee Nan, you were all about the M3, and now it’s the M5??
And as it is not a disease of itself it does not necessarily need to be treated.
Experts in aromatherapy use essential oils prepared from cedar wood, bay, jojoba, lavender, grapefruit, lemon, thyme, rosemary,
and chamomile. Hair fall can be controlled or treated with the help of herbs naturally at home.
